Standish Service Station Limited was founded in 1958. Known as Delph Service Station with ESSO petrol on sale, and had just one lubrication bay.
The petrol station and lubrication bay became increasingly busy, due to the dedication of both my Mother and Father. As the garage continued to prosper
additions were made. My Father had one of the first automatic car washes to be installed in the area and also an ESSO accessories shop was added. In 1970 the
premises were purchased from ESSO Petroleum Company.
The business has steadily grown over the years, incorporating new ideas and changing with technology and the flexibility of what our customers require.
We underwent a refurbishment in 1997 and also gained ISO9002 accreditation. This involved adding 5 workshop bays and modern reception and
office area. In 1999 we invested in new recovery vehicles. After being awarded our Operators Licence No. C292881 on 4 of our fleet vehicles, we can now
distribute new vehicles of all types of loads for various companies. This does not compromise our legal position on movement of vehicles granted to us under our
operators licence guidelines. We now have all the latest technology to deal with all aspects of vehicle repairs and recovery, including three courtesy cars, in order
to keep our customers on the road 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We have an ongoing commitment to all our customers, to service all their motoring needs now and through the next millennium.
